Brettos

Our home-made Cocktail liqueur has a rich fruity flavor. It is created according to the old family recipe and following the traditional way of distillation that our grand father, Michael Brettos, used back in 1909. This is a unique recipe of our store, produced from 100% natural fruit extracts.

Cocktail liqueur contains 25% alcohol and it has a really strong, exclusive flavour.

Brettos Liquors is the oldest distillery in Athens. It started operating for the first time back in 1909 at the ground level of an Athenian old mansion in the heart of Plaka. At those premises, his founder Michael Brettos, started producing ouzo and liqueur using the very first, hand-made, distiller.

Today nothing has changed in the traditional distillation process and production. The respect to the past together with the fact that Our production remains small, keeps our quality in a very high standard and makes our liqueurs really rare and distinctive.

Cadillac Margarita recipe
1 1/2 oz tequila
1 oz Cocktail liqueur
1/4 oz fresh lime juice
Shake tequila with Cocktail liqueur and lime juice, and strain into a chilled salt-rimmed cocktail glass. Serve and enjoy!
