Product Description

Our home-made Banana liqueur is a sweet, rich banana flavored liqueur. It is created according to the old family recipe and following the traditional way of distillation that our grand father, Michael Brettos, used back in 1909. This clear orange liqueur with the flavour of sun-ripened bananas, is enhanced with a touch of soft vanilla. Extracts of various carefully selected herbs and spices give this well-balanced liqueur its special taste. Rich full bodied banana flavor is perfect in tropical drinks and for any baking recipes that call for a banana flavoring.

Banana liqueur with 25% alcohol content has a strong and unique taste.

Brettos Liquors is the oldest distillery in Athens. It started operating for the first time back in 1909 at the ground level of an Athenian old mansion in the heart of Plaka. At those premises, his founder Michael Brettos, started producing ouzo and liqueur using the very first, hand-made, distiller.

Today nothing has changed in the traditional distillation process and production. The respect to the past together with the fact that Our production remains small, keeps our quality in a very high standard and makes our liqueurs really rare and distinctive.

Banana Cream Pie recipe
1 part Banana liqueur
1 part creme de cacao
1 part vodka
1 part half-and-half
Mix in a shaker with ice then strain. Serve in cocktail glass. Enjoy!
