Product Description
Azen Prune is an excellent liqueur made by plums. Wild plums are carefully sorted and cleaned and then fermented and distilled using copper pot stills and centuries old traditional methods. This process is called maceration. The result is a dark red, slightly sweet, intense fruity liqueur, rich in aromas and flavors. All our special liqueurs are better savoured on their own, neat or with ice.
With 21% alcohol content, Azen Prune has a really sweat and smooth taste.
Distillery Polykala, established in 1897 in the island of Kefallonia at Ionian Sea, is one of the oldest distilleries in Greece. Vassilis Polykalas was the first owner of the company, where he created and collected our inheritance recipes. Recipes that were kept for more than 100 years. Since then four generations are continuing the production of alcoholic drinks, based on the old recipes and with new ideas are developing the production fine. Today based in Athens - Greece, the Distillery Polykala continues steadily with sales all over the country.
