On 2009, Brettos Liquors has celebrated 100 years of successful operation in Plaka. We have created, on that purpose, t-shirts with Brettos brand.

Brettos Liquors is the oldest distillery in Athens. It started operating for the first time back in 1909 at the ground level of an Athenian old mansion in the heart of Plaka. At those premises, his founder Michael Brettos, started producing ouzo using the very first, hand-made, ouzo distiller. Today nothing has changed in the traditional distiller and the fascinating distillation process and production. The respect to the past together with the fact that our production remains small, keeps our quality in a very high standard and makes our products really rare and distinctive.
